Working With APPE

APPE works with associated researchers, advisers, editors, translators and institutional partners on defined projects. Cooperation is arranged around particular questions rather than open-ended recruitment.

Current Recruitment Model

APPE does not maintain a large rolling recruitment programme. Most opportunities are project-based, research-area specific or arranged through institutional cooperation. Research teams are assembled around defined questions, source requirements and output formats.

Profiles of Interest

  • Policy researchers Public administration, governance, regulation, institutional reform or public service delivery.
  • Economic analysts Applied economics, trade, investment, industrial policy, logistics or sector research.
  • Regional specialists Central Asia, Eurasian connectivity, international relations or cross-border cooperation.
  • Editorial specialists Policy editing, legal/economic translation, source verification and structured research presentation.

Expected Working Style

Strong candidates are able to document sources, separate fact from interpretation, write without exaggeration and revise material for institutional audiences.

Expression of Interest

If your background matches APPE’s research agenda, you may send a concise note through the contact page or to the relevant email channel. Please include your area of expertise, representative work, language abilities and the type of cooperation you are seeking.
